MAUMEE, OHIO, U.S. — The Andersons, Inc. announced on July 26 its newly constructed 2.9- million-bushel elevator in Humboldt, Tennessee, U.S., is now receiving grain.

“Opening this new elevator in Humboldt, with both train and truck loading capabilities, puts us in a great position to grow our service to the local agricultural community,” said Corey Jorgenson, president of the Grain Group. “We believe the access we provide to a variety of markets, combined with our risk management services will provide added value to area farmers during this year and well into the future.”


This is the first elevator The Andersons has constructed in Tennessee and is located on the West Tennessee Railroad. 

With the addition of this elevator, The Andersons Grain Group now has capacity of nearly 151 million bushels throughout Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Nebraska, Tennessee and Texas.
