CALGARY, ALBERTA, CANADA — Viterra Inc. announced on Nov. 7 that Rob Gordon, president, South East Asia, has tendered his resignation and will be leaving the company effective Feb. 4, 2012.

Gordon will be accepting a position as chief executive officer (CEO) of SunRice and will continue in his current role until February, supporting Viterra’s growth initiatives in South East Asia while representing Viterra with key stakeholders and the government.


Gordon made a valuable contribution to Viterra during his two-year tenure, leading the integration of ABB, strengthening Viterra's operational platform and managing South Australia's largest harvest ever, all while delivering superior financial results, the company said.
