LEAWOOD, KANSAS, U.S. — Agspring announced in early May the appointment of Michael Rizor as vice-president, operations and safety for the company and its subsidiaries. Rizor held several leadership positions at Cargill, where he managed successful facilities, led high-impact safety programs and maximized operational effectiveness. Most recently, he was general manager of Cargill’s West Coast salt facility in California, U.S.

“Mike’s extensive career in agricultural operations, facilities management and safety programs, as well as his expertise in business integration and process improvement, will provide Agspring and its operating companies strong leadership as we continue to grow,” said Brad Clark, Agspring president and chief operating officer. “Building exceptionally strong entrepreneurial teams with innovative leaders remains core to our ability to seek out and grow in new markets, trade flows and crop types.”


Rizor’s industry experience includes managing Cargill’s largest salt operation, leading the successful integration of its North American cocoa facilities, and leading facilities and key programs within its corn milling operations with a particular focus on safety. He brings significant experience developing and implementing business integration and process efficiencies.
