ATCHISON, KANSAS, U.S. — MGP Ingredients, a supplier of premium distilled spirits and specialty wheat proteins and starches, announced on April 12, the appointment of Gregg Hibbeler to the position of corporate director of communications. He succeeds Shanae Randolph, who recently transitioned to the newly created role of brand director for beverage brands.

Hibbeler brings over 20 years of marketing and communications experience to his position at MGPI. In his new capacity, he will oversee programs and campaigns promoting the company and its products. This includes directing corporate branding, marketing communications and internal communications activities, as well as community, media and internal investor relations functions.

Hibbeler’s marketing and communications career has included serving as chief marketing officer for Camp Fire USA in Kansas City, director of communications for Kansas City Life Insurance Company, and key roles in media management for Showtime Networks and Great American Broadcasting.

From 2005 to 2010, Hibbeler was vice-president of Promotion House, Inc., Kansas City, Missouri, U.S. He then spent two years as a brand/retail marketing consultant for American Family Insurance. In 2013, he established Brand Management Group, a marketing communications firm based in Kansas City.
