MANHATTAN, KANSAS, U.S. — The IGP Institute and Kansas State University (KSU) is offering a grain managers course May 2-6.

The course is geared toward grain elevator managers or those involved in grain storage that are interested in learning more efficient practices.

Included in the course will be presentations from Carl Reed, IGP Institute grain storage specialist, and other industry professionals. The training will feature classroom discussions and workshops. Topics to be covered include personnel management, grain quality assessment, grain handling equipment, grain drying, grain operations costs, grain inventory management, grain receiving and shipping, grain condition monitoring, grain aeration principles, grain aeration strategies and grain fumigation.
