GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, U.S. — MFS/York/Stormor, a division of Global Industries, Inc., announced on Sept. 22 that York has recently released a bolt-together M48 bucket elevator, work platform and distributor platform design.
The new M48 bucket elevator design offers capacity ranges from 10,000 bushels per hour (255 tonnes per hour) to 30,000 bushels per hour (762 tonnes per hour), the company said.
The new design consolidates three previous head profiles into one optimized design that not only minimizes wear but significantly improves flow, the company said.
The bucket elevator head now comes equipped with a 3-piece hood for easier access and serviceability, while the expanded work and distributor platforms allow ample room for servicing, the company said.
