ELMHURST, ILLINOIS, U.S. — Mike Maurine has been named president of The Long Co., effective Oct. 1.  He will be replacing Bill Zimmerman, who will be retiring at the end of September.

Maurine brings a wealth of experience in the baking industry, including management positions at Ventura Foods, AB Mauri/Fleischmann’s Yeast, Cargill/Horizon Milling and Best Brands. Most recently, he was director of bakery sales and purchasing at the Long Co. since 2013.
