SALINA, KANSAS, U.S. — William (Bill) Gambel has been named to the newly created role of executive vice-president, business development of McShares, Inc., Monte White, president and chief executive officer announced on May 1. Research Products Co. is an operating division within McShares.

Gambel will be responsible for expanding the business across the entire McShares portfolio.

 “I am really looking forward to working closely with Monte and the rest of the Research Products (REPCO) team.  They/we have great products, great people, and an extraordinary commitment to providing customer satisfaction,” Gambel said.  “The REPCO high touch, close customer intimacy, and quick response business approach will continue to serve us well as we expand into new markets, and particularly in the Nutritional Premix category.”

Gambel was most recently vice-president of client development and target marketing for AIB International. Prior to that, he was vice-president at Caravan Ingredients, where he was employed for 25 years in the baking and ingredient industry.

His international business experience includes work in Central and South America, China, and Europe. He has implemented key account management programs and a CRM program, as well as pricing strategies to enhance margins in a highly commoditized industry.

He has a degree in business management from Ottawa University, and is an AIB International Baking Science and Technology graduate.

Gambel will help lead and serve customers in the milling, baking and functional food categories, White said.
