WUTHA-FARNRODA, GERMANY — PETKUS Technologie GmbH announced on March 23 that it is expanding its global distribution network of 14 worldwide offices with the opening of its first branch in South America: PETKUS Brazil.

The newest subsidiary will have its headquarters in the city of Santa Cruz. The chief executive officer and contact person on site is Carlos Hansel.

PETKUS Brazil is established to serve the Brazilian and Southern American market for sales of machines, engineering of projects and agronomics as well as after-sales services.

PETKUS also announced a joint venture with Argentinian company FJA (Francisco J. Abelló y Ascociados S.A.). The company is specialized in industrial, commercial and institutional projects with experience in all necessary engineering disciplines of turnkey seed and grain plants.

FJA’s Manager Rodolfo Benvenutto will also serve as Global Director Latin America on the PETKUS board and chairmen of PETKUS Brazil.
