GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, U.S. — Global Industries, Inc. announced in March that Willem Coetzee will be the company’s sales manager for the Sub-Saharan African market.

A resident of Johannesburg, South African, Coetzee joins Global Industries with an extensive and diversified background in both agriculture and agricultural sales. In addition to having held sales management positions with other grain storage manufacturers in the African region, Coetzee has amassed considerable knowledge and experience in farm management in both U.S. and foreign markets, Global said.

In his new position, Coetzee will be responsible for developing and expanding Global Industries’ presence in the Sub-Saharan African countries, working directly with both individual customers and through Global Industries’ extensive dealer and contractor network. Additionally, he will be actively involved in training and developing local dealers to assist them in promoting and distributing Global products and to insure that the Global brand is well marketed and represented in these areas.

“One of Global Industries’ core strengths is its ability to provide both high quality products and consultative service to our customers from start to finish,” said Global Industries’ Vice-President of International Sales John Haugh. “With his vast knowledge of the market and experience in African agricultural markets, Coetzee will greatly assist Global in continuing to provide guidance and enhanced service to customers in this very important part of the world.”
