KIEV, UKRIANE — The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine recently stated that as of Dec. 11 the country’s current grain export volume is 18.71 million tonnes.
Total wheat exports were 9.34 million tonnes, corn was 5.4 million tonnes and barley was 3.85 million tonnes.
The price and demand of grain in Ukraine depends on the region. Third-class wheat costs from 2,800 UAH ($117) to 4,000 UAH ($167).
The average cost for is 3,151 UAH and the average cost for barley is 3,246 UAH.
