WASHINGTON, D.C., U.S. — The U.S. Grains Council (USGC) and Renewable Fuels Association (RFA) will co-host Export Exchange 2014 at the Sheraton Seattle in Seattle, Washington, U.S., on Oct. 20-22.

Export Exchange is an international trade conference focused on the export of U.S. coarse grains and ethanol co-products, including distiller’s dried grains with solubles (DDGS). Suppliers and agribusiness representatives from the U.S. and buyers from around the world are scheduled to attend Export Exchange 2014’s three days of educational presentations and networking opportunities.

Export Exchange is held every two years to expand and develop export markets. The 2012 event attracted buying teams from 33 countries and generated tens of millions of dollars in sales. Attendance at this year’s event is expected to set a new record, creating more opportunities for U.S. suppliers to connect with buyers and build their businesses.

An expected 180 international buyers from more than 30 countries are expected to attend, including all of the top international markets for U.S. coarse grains and ethanol co-products.

The agenda includes presentations on U.S. agriculture and energy policy, DDGS for livestock feed, DDGS supply and demand outlook, coarse grains outlook, and an ocean transportation panel.
