PARIS, FRANCE — InVivo NSA said on Sept. 8 that it has signed an agreement to acquire
Pancosma, a Swiss ingredient and additive company.

InVivo Animal Nutrition and Health Group, a subsidiary of InVivo Group, has a turnover of €1.3 billion and a presence in 19 countries. The group operates five main businesses: complete feeds, premixes, additives, analysis laboratories and animal health. It employs 5,500 people in 19 countries and 65 production sites.

Created in 1947, Pancosma develops, manufactures and distributes seven different product lines such as flavoring and sweetening palatants, bioactives, organic trace minerals, vegetable-based charcoals, acidifiers blends and TakTik's.

It has production plants in five major countries: France, Switzerland, Canada, Poland and China. Each plant specializes in the manufacture of one or more product lines.

Hubert de Roquefeuil, chief executive officer of InVivo Animal Nutrition and Health, said the acquisition allows InVivo to become a market leader in specialty additives and supplements.

The financial details were not made public. The transaction, subject to conditions, is expected to close before the end of the year.
