KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI, U.S. — Steven C. Hyde, Newedge USA, LLC, was elected on Jan. 13 the president of the Kansas City Board of Trade Clearing Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Kansas City Board of Trade (KCBT).

Kirk M. Polo, J.P. Morgan Futures Inc., was elected first vice-president; David J. Lehl, ADM Investor Services, Inc., was elected second vice-president; and John J. Kearney, individual member, was elected secretary-treasurer.


Elected as directors were Michael L. Dean, Cargill, Inc., and Bruce A. Wilson, individual member. Joseph K. Barker, Country Hedging, Inc., remains a director.

The Clearing Corp. reconciles all futures and options trades at the KCBT and guarantees the financial integrity of all trades.
