KVANUM, SWEDEN — TORNUM has received an order from OOO "Dzhumaylovskoe" in Krasnodar, Russia, to supply a continuous mixed flow dryer, type TK8-33-4. The dryer is designed for sunflower but will also be used for drying corn and wheat. It is equipped with an in-line burner for natural gas and a fire detection system.

The order also includes a cleaning/grading machine and conveying equipment. The project is planned to be up and running late July/early August.

“After careful consideration we chose TORNUM for their good quality, decent price and their attentive customer approach,” said Nerusin Vladimir Vladimirovich, owner of OOO Dzhumaylovskoe.

Vladimirovich plans to start his own production of snacks.

TORNUM’s TK dryer can handle the kernels in a gentle way, TORNUM said. All dryers supplied from TORNUM have also a smooth inside which ensure hygienic handling and easy cleaning.

“We carefully calculate the capacity of the dryer in order to make sure the dryer will meet the requirements of the customer. This combined with our vast experience ensures that the customer obtains the best possible solution to suite the specific performance required”, said Mikhail Makeyev, sales manager at TORNUM OOO, a fully owned subsidiary of TORNUM AB in Sweden.
