WEST PERTH, AUSTRALIA — The CBH Group announced on May 20 that it has finalized the recruitment process to fill the positions of chief financial officer (CFO) and general manager of corporate services.

Ed Kalajzic has been appointed as CFO and Mathew Regan as general manager, corporate services.

Kalajzic has worked with the CBH Group for five years, leading projects in the strategy and business development division. 

“Ed brings experience in mergers, acquisitions and strategic finance from his time in our Strategy and Business Development team and his previous career at consultancy PwC,” said CBH Group Chief Executive Officer Andy Crane. “His strong financial and strategic planning skills will be a real asset to the co-operative and the CFO role.”

Regan has worked with the CBH Group for 15 years leading teams in the IT and Grain Quality areas.

“Mat’s proven capability to deliver complex projects and his commercial focus will support a cost efficient and fit for purpose delivery of services to the business and our growers,” said Crane. “His leadership of the implementation of quality optimization along with a suite of other projects showed that he was able to deliver a project with a strong focus on people, process and technology. In addition to their very relevant skills for the roles it is great to bring two new members to our executive team who have a unique understanding of the challenges our growers face."

The current Chief Financial Officer David Moroney and General Manager, Corporate Services, Virginia Miltrup will commence their handovers on June 3.
