KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI, U.S. — World Grain magazine announced on March 4 that Dan Flavin has been promoted to publisher of the Sosland Publishing Co. business-to-business publication that serves the international grain, flour and feed industries.

Flavin has been with Sosland Publishing Co. for 15 years as the International Sales Manager and most recently as the Director of Advertising Sales. He replaces Mark Cornwell who left the company in March.

“It has been a great honor for the last 15 years to work and learn under my predecessor Mark Cornwell. I look forward to continuing the wonderful work of the World Grain team in making World Grain the leading international business magazine for the grain, flour and feed industries,” said Flavin, who graduated from the University of Kansas in 1992.

“I am delighted that Dan has agreed to take on the role of publisher for World Grain,” said Charles Sosland, Chairman. “Dan has been responsible for handling many of World Grain’s clients all over the world. I have complete confidence that Dan will continue our rich tradition of quality and success.”

In its 32nd year, World Grain is circulated to more than 11,000 readers in 146 countries.
