SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — GrainCorp said on Dec. 22 that harvest is largely complete in most areas, with total receivals down compared to last year.
Since Oct. 1, the company has received a total of 6.5 million tonnes of grain with 3.8 million tonnes received in New South Wales, 2.2 million tonnes in Victoria and 523,900 tonnes in Queensland.
Harvest is down from last year, when GrainCorp reported total receivals of 7.3 million tonnes.
Some late deliveries were still being received in the western districts of Victoria and from around Geelong, GrainCorp said.
