REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA — Viterra Inc. announced on Oct. 27 that Tim Kennedy, the company's director of transportation and logistics, was named Supply Chain Executive of the Year by the Freight Management Association of Canada (FMA).

Kennedy is responsible for Viterra's North American transportation and logistics functions including rail, truck, multi-modal, and vessel logistics. He has over 35 years of experience in agribusiness with a diverse background in freight and logistics management, grain marketing, export terminal and country elevator operations.

Kennedy was presented the award at the Canadian Institute of Traffic and Transportation's Canada Logistics Conference on Oct. 24 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
