ST. PAUL, MINNESOTA, U.S. — Malissa Fritz, a communications professional with more than 15 years of experience, has joined CHS Inc.  in the new position of director of issues management and leadership communications.

She has a strong track record of building proactive communication plans and strategies as well as a proven ability in working on issues communications with key stakeholders," said Linda Tank, senior vice-president, CHS Communications and Public Affairs. "Her expertise aligns well with our farmer-owned Fortune 100 energy, grains and foods company."

Fritz joins CHS from Weber Shandwick, Bloomington, Minnesota, U.S., where she was a vice-president heading the Farm and Food Advocacy practice and working with a variety of leading agricultural companies and food manufacturers.

Previously, Fritz was communications director for the Minnesota Board of Animal Health in St. Paul; public relations consultant for VistaComm in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, U.S.; communications coordinator for the Minnesota Department of Agriculture; and a reporter for KSFY Television in Sioux Falls. A graduate of South Dakota State University with a degree in agricultural journalism, Fritz also farms near the Twin Cities with her family.
