OVERLAND PARK, KANSAS, U.S. — Bill Barr, president of Bill Barr and Company and former American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) chairman, was stabbed multiple times Nov. 19 allegedly by an employee, local news stations reported.
Barr was expected to be ok, the stations reported. An employee was charged in connection with the stabbing on Nov. 21. The stabbing occurred at Barr’s company, which distributes feed ingredients, in Overland Park, Kansas, U.S.
Barr is active in AFIA and is a supporter of Kansas State University’s Department of Grain Science and Industry and the FSM program. He participated in the dedication of the new O.H. Kruse Feed Technology Innovation Center and provides scholarship support for the students.
