OMAHA, NEBRASKA, U.S. — The board of directors of The Scoular Co. has elected David M. Faith chairman of the board. Marshall E. Faith has been named vice-chairman and will continue to play an active role on the board.
A 28-year veteran of Scoular, David Faith joined the company as a grain merchant in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, U.S., in 1984. After relocating to Omaha in 1987, he became president and chief operating officer of the company’s Vic’s Popping Corn subsidiary while also holding other corporate responsibilities. After the Vic’s business was sold, Faith assumed responsibility for information technology and shortly thereafter accounting and control under the Enterprise Development Group umbrella. He has been president since September 2009.
He graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in political science.
