The four laboratories seek to advance the quality and use of wheat grain in the United States. They are the Western Wheat Quality Laboratory in Pullman, Washington, U.S., the Hard Winter Wheat Quality Laboratory in Manhattan, Kansas, U.S., the Hard Spring and Durum Wheat Quality Laboratory in Fargo, North Dakota, U.S. and the Soft Wheat Quality Laboratory in Wooster, Ohio, U.S.
