ROTTERDAM, NETHERLANDS — BayWa AG has reached an agreement to sell Cefetra Group, an agricultural ingredient company, to First Dutch.
The transaction is expected to be complete in the coming months, subject to customary closing conditions.
Cefetra Group has been a part of BayWa AG for more than 12 years. As part of the sale, Cefetra Group will remain independently operated, with full continuity in all commercial and operational relationships. “Our new shareholder brings a long-term perspective and values our independent position in the market,” said Daan Vriens, chief executive officer of Cefetra Group. “Their support allows us to stay focused on our purpose, while continuing our ways of working and partnerships.”
The Cefetra Group comprises 17 companies active in over 35 locations across Europe and beyond.
