PORTLAND, OREGON, US — Columbia Grain International (CGI) has hired Steven Hart as its new business execution manager for the CGI East Region.

In his role, Hart will oversee origination and commercial operations across CGI’s newly expanded East Region, which now includes North Dakota and eastern Montana.

Hart most recently was managing a river facility in Arkansas with Viserion. His experience in the grain and processing industries includes leadership roles at Prairie Creek Grain, Puris, and Bunge, where he was responsible for facility management, grain merchandising and processing plant operations.

“His expertise in team leadership, safety and process optimization will be invaluable as we continue to grow and evolve,” CGI said. “We look forward to the contributions Steve will bring to our team and the positive impact he will make in the East Region and across CGI.”
