JAKARTA, INDONESIA — The 4B Group, a global market leader in bucket elevator and conveyor components, opened its new subsidiary, 4B Indonesia, on May 1 in Jakarta.

The new office and warehouse facility will add to 4B’s success in the Indonesian market and provide enhanced service levels to customers in the region, the company said.

Indonesia, which previously was serviced by 4B Australia, offers significant potential in the areas of bulk material handling, rice milling and feedstock. Due to the growing population and demand for animal protein, Indonesia’s feed market is expanding quickly, with the population increase and animal protein demand driving the need for effective bulk storage and handling, 4B said.

Under the leadership of managing director Christian Chandra, 4B Indonesia said it will ensure that customers benefit from direct access to 4B’s engineering expertise, solutions, and product range, which includes elevator buckets, bolts, belting, forged chains, level controls, and hazard monitoring systems.

“By opening 4B Indonesia, we are bringing our expertise closer to customers and ensuring they receive faster, better service,” Chandra said. “Indonesia is a dynamic and growing market, and we are committed to serving our customers with best-in-class solutions and technical support that meets their needs.”

Paul Dennis, president director 4B Australia and Indonesia, added, “Indonesia is a strategically important region, and the launch of 4B Indonesia is an exciting step forward. Our goal is to not only offer world-class products but also to provide engineering solutions that enhance safety, efficiency and productivity in bulk material handling systems. We look forward to building close partnerships with current and new customers in Indonesia.”
