CUNEO, ITALY — CESCO completed installation of seven of the 11 corrugated steel sheet round silos for Molino Chiavazza in Cuneo, Italy.

The hopper bottom silos measure 12.2 meters (40 feet) in diameter and will allow Molino Chiavazza to enhance its grain storage capacity while minimizing environmental impact, optimizing energy consumption and improving overall operational efficiency.

"Having commenced erection at the beginning of the year, we are pleased with the speed and efficiency of our team,” said Martino Celeghini, chief executive officer of CESCO. “The first seven silos are now standing, and we are on track to complete the entire storage area by the end of March. This will pave the way for the installation of steel structures, the combined train-truck intake section, and the outloading section. We are proud to see such substantial progress on this transformative project in Italy, where CESCO has recently expanded its local manufacturing capabilities."

The Molino Chiavazza project showcases CESCO's commitment to supporting the grain and food industry’s transition toward more sustainable and efficient operations, the company said.
