MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA, U.S. — The Grain Elevator and Processing Society’s (GEAPS) annual Leadership Conference is planned July 17-19 in Bloomington, Minnesota, U.S.

The three-day conference will begin with a half-day session that takes last year's training to the next level, GEAPS said. The second day's session includes a period of discussion to refine the concrete action steps that will result in the development of new leaders. The conference will conclude with tactical ways GEAPS and the participants can measure progress toward creating a GEAPS culture of volunteers.  During the event, attendees will learn how to become effective leaders by teaching them to know their purpose, value people, take action, and get others involved.

Last year's conference attracted people from 21 GEAPS chapters, 20 states, two Canadian provinces, and 48 companies.
