BRAUNSCHWEIG, GERMANY — IFF, the international research association for feed, is offering a practical course on the essentials of feed compounding technologies Sept. 5-7 at the Research Institute of Feed Technology of IFF in Braunschweig, Germany.

Process technology will be the main topic of this training course during which participants will gain insight into the production process of feed manufacturers for healthy, safe and high-quality feed for animal husbandry and pets. Use of various resources, quality control, energy management and safety assessment also will be covered.

The course is intended for advisers, technical staff and other interested personnel working in the feed industry. It also is recommended to employees of the supplying industry, nutritionists and policymakers.

The cost for the course is 890 euros ($968) until June 16 and 1,090 euros ($1,185) afterward for IFF members, and 1,250 euros ($1,360) until June 16 and 1,450 euros ($1,577) afterward for nonmembers. Registration is due by Aug. 5.
