CASSVILLE, MISSOURI, US — Responding to growing customer demand, Majestic Milling Co. is expanding its organic soybean operations and ensuring product integrity with new storage and processing equipment at its terminal location in Aurora, Missouri, US.

The project began in September 2022 and features three 150,000-bushel bins, six extruders and three presses at the nearly three-year-old facility, which produces organic soybean meal and oil. The Aurora terminal, which had just 10,000 bushels of soybean storage previously, has a rebuilt BNSF track and rail pit that will feed the three new bins.

Expected organic soybean meal production at Aurora is 6 tph with annual projected production of 35,000 to 50,000 tonnes.

With its main office in Cassville, Missouri, farmer-owned Majestic Milling opened a feed mill in Wheaton, Missouri, in 2017 and followed with construction of the Aurora terminal beginning in 2019. Majestic Milling produces and manufactures organic, non-GMO and antibiotic-free feeds with wholesale distribution to farms.

Following the Aurora expansion, the company expects to annually process 1.28 million bushels of organic soybeans in addition to 2 million bushels of organic, non-GMO and conventional corn.
