DES MOINES, IOWA, US — Landus Cooperative has been named a preferred sustainability partner by agricultural technology company Indigo Ag, becoming a preferred distributor of the company’s sustainability crop solutions for farmers.

Landus and Indigo will engage the agricultural supply chain, from farmer to consumer, utilizing Carbon by Indigo, Market+ Merchandise and sustainable crop solutions the FieldFlex suite of products, and biotrinsic products. 

The relationship will leverage Landus Conduit, an integrated subsidiary that connects enterprising farmers, aligned agriculture and grain organizations with collaborators to streamline supply chain and access incremental value.

Landus, Iowa’s largest farmer-owned cooperative, and Boston, Massachusetts, US-based Indigo first partnered in December 2021 when they a entered strategic collaboration to drive improvements to on-farm profitability amid emerging digital opportunities in agriculture. 

Landus has 56 licensed grain storage facilities with 152.686 million bushels of storage, according to Sosland Publishing Co.’s 2023 Grain & Milling Annual, which places it 10th among grain handling companies in North America.
