PORTLAND, OREGON, US — Andres Cardena has been named chief financial officer of Columbia Grain International (CGI).
Cardena most recently was chief executive officer of Attebury Grain LLC since July. Earlier, he was group CFO at Attebury from July 2019 to February 2022. Prior to Attebury he spent many years at Cargill in a variety of accounting, finance and controller roles.
CGI is a global leader in the origination, processing, logistics, and distribution of high-quality bulk grains, pulses, edible beans, oilseeds and organics for US domestic and worldwide export markets. CGI’s 49.7 million bushels of licensed grain storage at 37 facilities make it the 34th largest grain storage company in North America, according to Sosland Publishing Co.’s2022 Grain & Milling Annual.
