MANHATTAN, KANSAS, US — The Department of Grain Science and Industry at Kansas State University is seeking a milling operations manager for the O.H. Kruse Feed Mill.
The feed mill manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the mill, with specific responsibilities including reporting monthly safety, financial and production activities; maintaining inventory control of ingredients, writing bid specifications for ingredients; contacting local grain producers; assisting faculty with formulation and regulatory questions; supervising and training students in safe and appropriate mixing of feed ingredients into finished animal rations and coordinating safe and efficient delivery; and periodically assisting with tours and visitors.
The non-tenure track, 12-month appointment is an annually renewable position.
