ISTANBUL, TURKEY — Turkey-based milling equipment manufacturer Alapala received the Milling Machinery Producer of the Year award at the International Association of Operative Millers (IAOM) Eurasia District Conference in Istanbul.

The conference was held May 19-22 at the Lütfi Kırdar Congress Center and the awards ceremony took place on May 20 during a gala dinner.

Görkem Alapala, chief executive officer of Alapala, attended to the conference, and Sezai Aydin, R&D manager at Alapala, made a presentation to introduce the system to the conference attendees.

A world leader in the production of grain milling technology, Alapala won the award for its “Next Generation Milling Systems.”

The system “enables machines to operate independently and error-free without any human interaction,” Alapala said.

The company also said the system “provides high reliability, process optimization, energy efficiency, consistent quality and little need for human intervention all together in the grain milling process.”
