CLAYPOOL, INDIANA, US — A soybean processing and biodiesel plant in Claypool, Indiana, US, operated by Louis Dreyfus Co. is operational and open for deliveries following a fire that broke out in a bag house on Feb. 15.

Soybean deliveries were suspended at the plant on Feb. 16 following the fire.

According to LDC, the Claypool facility is the largest fully integrated soybean processing and biodiesel plant in the United States. The plant, which first began operations in 2007, has the capacity to crush 175,000 bushels of soybeans per day.
