WASHINGTON, D.C., U.S. — Sean Callanan, current U.S. Grains Council (USGC) manager of programs, will leave the USGC on Jan. 29.
He will be joining a new initiative at the Cotton Council International (CCI) as program manager – greater Europe. Callanan has been a recognized asset at the council, USGC said, and the knowledge and experience he brought to the position will be missed.

KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI, US — These are the top 10 largest US wheat-durum-rye milling companies, based on US mills and milling capacity as listed in Sosland Publishing Co.’s 2024 Grain & Milling Annual. The United States has 147 wheat, 17 durum and 12 rye mills. Total US daily milling capacity is 1,653,347 cwts, and the top 21 companies represent 96.2%.
