KIEV, UKRAINE — Ukraine has harvested 55.3 million tonnes of grain, or 90% of the planted area nearing the end of its 2020 harvest, Reuters reported, citing Ukraine’s economy ministry.

Approximately 19.6 million tonnes of corn has been harvested while Ukrainian farmers have completed the wheat and barley harvest.

Due to drought, the Ukrainian ministry is forecasting its grain output to decrease to 68 million tonnes in 2020 compared with 75 million tonnes in 2019.
