MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA, U.S. — Cargill has launched Clear Valley natural cooking and frying oil, a canola oil, to the foodservice market.

“With the high levels of oleic acid and a high oxidative stability, Clear Valley natural canola oil is by far one of the most stable vegetable oils currently available, eliminating common flavor and shelf-life challenges often associated with formulating with healthier fats,” said Willie Loh, vice-president of marketing for Cargill Oils and Shortenings.

The product is low in saturated fat and has zero grams trans fat per serving. The product may be used for frying, sautéing, baking, marinades, sauces and dressings.
