ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA, US — The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) plans to host a new digital dialogue series that will offer opportunities to learn about current market fluctuations taking place and impacts on future business within the animal food industry.

Specifically, the AFIA Digital Dialogues will focus on current issues affecting the liquid supplement, feed, ingredient and equipment manufacturing sectors.

The three-part webinar series will take place Oct. 13-15 for one hour each day, starting at 3:00 PM eastern. The webinar series agenda includes:

  • A weather outlook by Art Douglas, PhD, of Creighton University;
  • A global market outlook by Don Close of Rabo AgriFinance; and
  • A cattle outlook by Randy Blach of CattleFax.

“If your animal food business is affected by changing weather patterns or volatile markets, then the American Feed Industry Association’s new webinar series will be very helpful to you,” said Veronica Rovelli, senior director of meetings and events for the AFIA. “Given ongoing company travel restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic, the AFIA continues to look for ways to make educational content accessible for our members so they can stay competitive in an ever-changing world.”

Individuals are encouraged to register by Sept. 29, to receive the discounted early-bird rate of $90 for AFIA members and $180 for non-members.
