WASHINGTON, DC, US — The National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) has named Rosy Brummette as manager of public policy for market development and renewable fuels.

Brummette will work to expand NCGA’s market opportunities for corn and advocating for the organization’s ethanol and trade policy goals.

“NCGA is pleased to welcome Rosy to our public policy team,” said Kathy Bergren, public policy director, renewable fuels of NCGA. “She brings a wealth of agriculture policy experience that will enable her to hit the ground running and play a key role in advocating for NCGA policy priorities.”

Brummette most recently was a policy analyst for the US Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry under Debbie Stabenow, ranking member, where she focused on biofuels, energy, agriculture conservation and climate issues. She played a role during the 2018 farm bill, leading staff-level conference negotiations on the conservation title for the senator.

Brumette graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor of science degree in agribusiness management and a minor in environmental economics.
