VILLARTA DE SAN JUAN, SPAIN — Symaga has added to its steel profile automatic process range with the installation of a new drilling center.
To attain high manufacturing standards, the company’s continued investment plan targets an annual minimal investment of €3 million. The goal is to achieve full automation in its factory and full traceability control, Symaga said.
In 2015, automatization reached 80% of the process. Between 2016 and 2018 all punching and profiling lines were automated bringing productivity up by 30% for some production lines.
In late 2019, this new drilling system was acquired, and the welding and bending lines were also improved.
In 2020, along with the roll out of a new ICT infrastructure, Symaga plans the addition of a new bending section.
