MUSCAT, OMAN — The International Association of Operative Millers Mideast & Africa region has set its 2020 conference and expo for Oct. 25-28 in Muscat, Oman.
Initially, organizers were considering Zanzibar or Tunis but decided on the new Oman Convention & Exhibition Center because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Oman, easily accessible through more than 29 international airlines and the capital, Muscat, has a proven track record and established infrastructure to host meetings, international exhibitions and corporate events.
For the IAOM MEA Regional forum 2020, officials said they are exploring the option to launch it digitally through online webinars supported by a secured platform. Participants would be able to view and share presentations, interact with the speakers and other participants.
