CREMONA, ITALY — Ocrim S.p.A. sent a letter to its customers on Feb. 28 reassuring them that the milling equipment manufacturer is “fully operational.”

Ocrim is located in northern Italy in the vicinity of a recent outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), which began in China in late December and has spread to more than 50 countries across the globe, including Italy. The virus has infected more than 83,000 people worldwide, including nearly 900 in Italy.

In the letter, Ocrim stated: “We are all witnessing what is happening in the world due to the spread of COVID-19. We feel for those may have been directly or indirectly affected by this. As always, Ocrim, which is fully operational, is ready to satisfy any request anywhere in the world.”

Ocrim is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of flour and feed milling equipment.
