MAUMEE, OHIO, U.S. — The Andersons, Inc. announced on July 18 that it has entered a grain merchandising agreement with Trotter, Inc., of Arcadia, Nebraska, U.S.

The agreement provides The Andersons with access to an additional 4.1 million bushels of storage space in Nebraska.


"This agreement reinforces The Andersons' ongoing commitment to customers in Nebraska," said Hal Reed, president of The Andersons Grain & Ethanol Group. "This partnership increases the breadth of services both of our companies can offer our customers."

Jim Trotter, President of Trotter, Inc. said, "The goal for us at Trotter Grain is to provide a competitive advantage for our customers. We believe aligning ourselves with The Andersons will accomplish that."

During the past year, The Andersons added four million bushels of capacity in Nebraska with the acquisitions of O'Malley Grain and B4Grain, Inc.
