ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA, U.S. – The American Feed Industry Association has opened registration for its 2020 Purchasing and Ingredient Suppliers Conference (PISC), happening on March 17-19 in Seattle, Washington, U.S.

During this three-day educational and networking program, attendees will hear presentations on myriad topics, including: navigating the plant-based product trend, communicating with consumers using “agvocacy,” the industry’s efforts on managing the African swine fever crisis and other foreign animal diseases, the current trade and political landscape, an economic outlook for the industry and more.

“The Purchasing and Ingredient Suppliers Conference is truly where business gets done,” said Veronica Rovelli, AFIA’s senior director of meetings and events. “In addition to the robust educational program, attendees can conduct business while making new connections and enjoying the planned networking programs.”

The conference will also include a Suppliers Showcase where AFIA member suppliers will have the opportunity to highlight their products and services. Those interested in being a part of the showcase or sponsoring PISC can learn more about those opportunities on AFIA’s conference website.

PISC will take place at the Hyatt Regency in Seattle. Early-bird registration is available until Jan. 15 for $599 for AFIA members and $2,050 for non-members. Following that date, the fee will increase to $669 and $2,150, respectively.
