MANHATTAN, KANSAS, U.S. — The Grain Elevator and Processing Society  (GEAPS) and Kansas State University (KSU) will be hosting a grain elevators managers course.

The course focuses on the science behind the practices used in grain management. It provides new managers with the information they need to correctly interpret the experiences they will have when managing grain quality, and the insight they will require when evaluating the practices used by their predecessors.

The four day course topics include:

  • Personnel management
  • Grain elevator safety
  • Grain quality characteristics
  • Inventory management
  • Aeration principles
  • Hardware

There will be two offerings for this course: Jan. 21-24, 2020, and May 5-8. 2020. The course fee is $670 for GEAPS members and $1,000 for non-GEAPS members person.
