REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA — Viterra Inc. announced on June 21 the expansion of the Viterra Gull Lake terminal, providing a significant increase to grain handling capacity.

Viterra Gull Lake previously offered a 56 rail car facility located on the Canadian Pacific (CP) rail line, which has been expanded to 112 car spots to accommodate heavy production in the Southwestern Saskatchewan area. Terminal storage capacity has also been increased by 37%.


"The expansion of the Viterra Gull Lake terminal is part of our commitment to enhancing the quality of service Viterra provides to both farmers and destination customers. This infrastructure investment ensures the more efficient movement of grains and oilseeds, and we are pleased to have worked with CP to realize this advancement," said Bob Miller, Viterra's senior vice-president for grain, North America.

Viterra loads more than 200,000 railcars and about 400 ships in Canada and Australia annually and is dedicated to the ongoing development of superior transportation performance.
