AMES, IOWA, U.S. — Tim Unruh has been promoted to chief agronomy officer at Landus Cooperative. In his new role he will be responsible for overseeing the agronomy business, including sales, marketing, product procurement and precision ag.

Unruh joined Landus in 2016 and most recently was vice-president of agronomy. Before joining Landus he was regional sales manager at United Suppliers, Inc. Earlier, he was regional sales manager at John Deere Financial, national account manager at eMerge Interactive and general manager at Helena Chemical Co. He began his career as general manager at Archer Daniels Midland Co.’s Collingwood Grain retail location in Garden City, Kansas, U.S.

He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ashford University.
