WHITE PLAINS, NEW YORK, U.S. — Christos Dimopoulos has been named president of Agribusiness at Bunge Ltd. He succeeds Brian Thomsen, who earlier announced his intent to retire.

Dimopoulos joined Bunge in 2004 and most recently was senior vice-president of global grains and oilseeds. Prior to Bunge he held roles of increasing responsibility in Europe and the U.S. with Tradigrain and Intrade Risk Management.

He received a bachelor’s degree in business management and marketing from HEC Lausanne.
