BARNAUL, RUSSIA — PAVA announced on Nov. 1 that its representatives have returned from Hong Kong where they attended the Russia & CIS Investment Summit 2010, which took place Sept. 15-16. PAVA said it was represented by its Andrey Igoshin, president; Sergey Balaenkov, chief financial officer; and Galina Balaenkova, head of investor relations and international business development department.

PAVA noted it was the only agro-industrial company present at the event. According to Balaenkova, the two days of the summit were packed not only with numerous expert reports but also with negotiations with the representatives of Asian Investment Funds. "Hong Kong today is without a doubt Asia’s financial capital. Participation in such large-scale events attended by considerable number of representatives from largest institutional private and industrial investors allows to have a general perspective of the trends on global financial markets," Balaenkova said.

The Russia & CIS Investment Summit 2010 was attended by representatives of 100 of Asia’s Largest Investment Funds as well as Asian Investment banks, Institutional Funds and Private Investors who represented leading corporations and asset management companies.

PAVA said the summit served as a unique platform for the presentation of investment projects, negotiations with potential investors and exchange of experience among the companies of the same area of expertise.
